Connecting Ireland public consultation is now open. You are invited to have your say on the development of Ireland’s rural mobility plan and the enhancement of public transport.
What will Connecting Ireland mean for Kerry?
•Enhanced interurban connections between Tralee and Killarney to Cork and Limerick.
•New and enhanced local bus routes from Fenit, Castlegregory, Firies and Castleisland to Tralee, and from      Gneeveguilla and Kilcummin to Killarney.
•New two-way hop-on/hop-off services on the Ring of Kerry, connecting Killarney, Killorglin, Caherciveen, Waterville, Sneem and Kenmare.
•New and enhanced local bus services along the North Kerry Coast from Tarbert via Ballybunion, Ballyheigue and Tralee to Killorglin.
•New interurban bus services from Killarney to Bantry and Skibereen.
•New local bus services from Killarney to Millstreet, Bandon and Kinsale.
