The annual Ring Of Kerry Charity Cycle will take place on Saturday 05th July 2025, starting and finishing in Killarney. Cyclists will travel from Killarney via Killorglin and return via Kenmare and Molls Gap with a number of road closures and traffic diversions in place along the route.
As a result of this and to facilitate the large number of participants involved, the following service alterations will apply
There is no impact on the Route 276

Route 280 Killarney – Fossa – Beaufort – Killorglin – Glenbeigh – Cahersiveen – Waterville

Route 280

Killarney Depart 07:50 will not serve Fossa or Beaufort

This service will detour via Milltown and resume service in Killorglin

Waterville Depart 10:15 will operate all stops but will detour at Caragh Bridge and travel via Dooks to Killorglin and operate as normal thereafter. (Road Closure Killorglin to Caragh Bridge (Eastbound Lane) 06:00 to 12:00 noon)

Route 280

Waterville Depart 06:45 is CANCELLED

Killorglin Depart   08:05 is CANCELLED

All other services to operate as normal

Route 281 Waterville – Caherdaniel – Castlecove – Sneem – Kenmare

Waterville Depart 13:20  Not Operating
Kenmare Depart  15:00  Not Operating

Route 285 Waterville – Cahersiveen

Waterville Depart 08:15 is CANCELLED

Cahirciveen Depart 11:35 is CANCELLED

Waterville Depart 13:55 will operate as normal.

R45 Sneem to Killarney will operate via Kilgarvan in both directions.
R46b will not operate as normal.
All other services will operate as normal but passengers should be advised to expect delays and that  there is no guarantee of onward connections on that day for the duration of the event.
